CHEA SEAFOOD RESTAURANT (FORMALLY KNOWN AS NOMIN SEAFOOD RESTAURANT) - Teck Chye Terrace

Area :Kovan/Serangoon (North-East)
Nearest MRT : Serangoon MRT (NEL/Circle Line)
Address : 31 Teck Chye Terrace
Cuisine : Chinese
Price Range : $9 Onwards

Recommended Item on the Menu : CPF (Crab, Prawn & Fish) Crabpot
Rating : 4 out of 5 Stars

Nomin Seafood Restaurant was the place where stars used to come when they wanted good food. They have now taken up two shop spaces instead of the previous three making it look as though theyhave shifted. On top of that their name has changed making it harder to recognize. Upon further investigation this truly is the famous Nomin Seafood Restaurant with the same chef and staff.

Chea Seafood Restaurant still continues their tradition of serving the old favorites such as the CPF Crabpot, Smoked Bacon Roll, etc. The Head Chef at Chea Seafood Resturant does a great job in experimenting with flavors bringing out the character of each and every dish.

HOUSE OF SEAFOOD @ 180 - Yio Chu Kang Rd

Area : Yio Chu Kang Rd (North-East)
Nearest MRT : Serangoon MRT (NEL/Circle Line)
Address : 180, Yio Chu Kang Road, Singapore 545628

Cuisine : Chinese
Price Range : $8.80 Onwards
Recommended Item on the Menu : Crab

Rating : 2.5 out of 5 Stars

House of Seafood on Yio Chu Kang Rd is famous for their Crabs and have been reviewed a number of times. However I felt that apart from their Crabs the rest of the menu has been pretty average. Most of the items that were served were too salty and this proved to be inconsistant as the previous visit was better.

Liquid Kitchen Serangoon Gardens is the best place to chill out or just unwind after a long day at work. The place is classy with a main bar on the first floor and a private bar on the second floor.

Personally I love this place! The beer battered fish is prepared to perfection with the batter smooth andFish tender. You can actually see the steam escaping out of the fish as you cut it! It just tastes heavenly and goes great with a glass of white wine. Meat lovers do try their new Oktoberfest Promotion. Three Sausages coupled with two glasses of beer.Once again done perfectly the sausages are juicy and tender with the outside crunchy!

Do give it a try and you will come back for more!

To sum it up excellent service & great food! Keep it up Guys!

Welcome to Singapore Food Reviews REHASHED!

So here we are again almost 10 years later to feature you the latest and greatest of our local Singaporean cuisine and street food.

You probably remember us when we first started out in 2009 featuring text-based "unbiased reviews of our favorite local food places" and the things that really changed over the years is how technology had evolved since then.

Back then the iPhone 3GS just had a 3-megapixel camera. And we didn't really see the need or have the money to buy into serious photography equipment back then when the majority of us were students.

So here we are back again with "Summicron" lenses and the latest in phone photography to bring you shots of food alongside well-written articles.

Our panel will be evolving as time goes by and the best part about having paying jobs is that our reviews will not be swayed by bribes!

And with a new 10-year lease renewed on our domain be prepared to expect only the very best reviews from Singapore and beyond.

Staying true to tradition...

We hope to bring to you everything that Singapore has to offer from the most economical hawker food to the most exquisite restaurants!" We are LIVE!
